ABOUT US
The Body Architects Physiotherapy provides clear, practical physiotherapy grounded in strong clinical expertise. We work with everything from everyday injuries to complex or long-standing problems, with particular experience in chronic pain and sports-related conditions.
Your first session includes a thorough assessment and a plan you can understand. Treatment begins straight away and typically combines hands-on techniques — including soft-tissue therapy, joint mobilisation, manipulation, and dry needling — with targeted exercise rehabilitation. With a background in Human Movement, advanced musculoskeletal training, and years working with premier-level athletes, we’re equipped to manage a wide range of musculoskeletal issues.
We take the time to listen to what you’re actually here for and make sure the treatment matches the problem. Cases are reviewed regularly to confirm progress is on track, and if a scan or specialist input is likely to clarify the diagnosis, we’ll organise that early rather than wait and see.
Our clinic includes access to a dedicated area within the gym in our building, allowing us to integrate sport and performance-based rehabilitation as part of your treatment when needed.
At The Body Architects Physiotherapy, the focus is simple: skilled, straightforward care that helps you recover properly and return to the things you need to do.

FAQ
-
No referral is required — you can book directly with The Body Architects Physiotherapy. Our physiotherapists will assess your injury or condition and recommend an appropriate treatment plan. We treat ACC claims, private clients, and most insurance claims. If we think seeing your GP would be beneficial, we’ll let you know during your first session.
-
The Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) provides cover for injuries resulting from sudden accidents. ACC can help pay for physiotherapy following work, home, or sports injuries. You will be asked to pay a co-payment for each visit. Our team will complete all necessary ACC forms for your first appointment and, if needed, can arrange imaging such as x-rays or ultrasounds to support your treatment.
-
Yes. All ACC clients are required to pay a co-payment per visit. There may also be small charges for materials used during treatment, such as strapping tape or rehabilitation equipment, or for loan items like crutches.
-
At The Body Architects Physiotherapy, we provide highly skilled, evidence-based care delivered by physiotherapists with advanced training and extensive clinical experience, including work with sports injuries and complex musculoskeletal conditions. ACC funding covers part of the cost of treatment, but the co-payment helps us maintain high clinical standards, modern equipment, and a quality environment for your care. The co-payment ensures we can deliver safe, effective, and personalised physiotherapy for every client.
-
You can still receive treatment at our clinic. We provide care for private clients paying for their own appointments as well as those covered by private insurance or work-related injury insurance. Our physiotherapists will assess your condition and create a tailored treatment plan, regardless of how your sessions are funded.
